Hanscom FCU Volunteers Bring Helping Hands to Local Food Pantry
Hanscom FCU employees Diane Welch, a remote services specialist, and David Minker, chief information officer, volunteered at the Burlington (MA) Food Pantry this spring by sorting and stocking food donations from area businesses and the Greater Boston Food Bank.
The Burlington Food Pantry is managed by People Helping People of Burlington, a non-profit, predominately volunteer organization. Hanscom FCU volunteers have been donating their time to the Burlington Food Pantry for the past four years, sending a pair of volunteers to help unload trucks of donated food and sorting them on the shelves of the food pantry.
