Hanscom FCU Charitable Foundation Elects New Chairperson

LITTLETON, MA (August 10, 2022) – Teresa S. Conrad was elected Chairperson of Hanscom FCU Charitable Foundation, the charitable arm of Hanscom Federal Credit Union, on July 25, 2022. 

Director Conrad joined the Foundation’s Board in 2012. Most recently she served as Secretary for the last four years. This is her second time as Chair, previously serving from 2017 to 2018.

Director Conrad has also served on Hanscom FCU’s Board of Directors since 1999. She is currently Vice Chairperson, and previously was Secretary of the Board. During her Board tenure, she has served as the Chairperson of the Regulatory/Political Action and Volunteer Recruitment committees.

“I’m honored to be selected as the Chairperson of Hanscom Charitable Foundation. Our dedicated Board, volunteers, and employees have done a tremendous job to fulfil our mission of serving our community partners. The Foundation has raised over a $1 million to support the Home Base program, which is dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war for Veterans, Service Members, Military Families, and Families of the Fallen. Hanscom FCU and the Foundation have served and supported Boston Children’s Hospital for over 22 years. The Foundation has also supported and held numerous fundraisers for the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless, Fisher House Boston, the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life®, and Crossroads. I’m inspired to have the opportunity to serve our community and continue to grow the Foundation.”

Director Conrad retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Civilian Program Manager in January 2019.
